EVEREST BASE CAMP NEPAL SIDE OUTLINE ITINERARY
Day 01 : Arrive Kathmandu
meet representative of Nepal Travels Group and transfer
to Hotel.
Day 02: In Kathamndu,
Guided sightseeing tour of the city's main attractions,
which include colourful Buddhist shrines and Hindu
temples, Hotel.
Day 03 Kathmandu -Lukla- Phakding
alt 2610m, 3-4 Hrs trek.
An early start for the dramatic flight through the
mountains to Lukla. After lunch we have a short trek
to our first night's halt at Phakding
Day 04 : Trek Phakding to Namche
alt 3470m, 5-6 hrs Trek.
Following the Dudh Kosi Valley upstream, we cross
and re-cross the river before making a final steep
climb to the Sherpa capital of Namche Bazaar (3440m).
Day 05 : Acclimatisation around Namche.
Hiking options include a short, steep climb to
the Everest View Hotel,
Day 06 : Trek to the Tyngboce alt
3700m, 5-6 hrs Trek.
we are the mountain top overlooking Mt Everest &
the Gokyo Valley which is the main drainage for the
glaciers of Mt.Cho Oyu alt 8201m.
Day 07 : Trek to Dingboche alt 4200m,
5-6 hrs Trek
The trail climbs steadily up valley on forested hillside
and through open pasture. There are several refreshment
halts en route.
Day 08 : Acclimatisation day at Dingboche
or Spend a night at Chukkung. day trip to Chukkung..
It is possible to climb quite high on the nearby ridge
for magnificent views of Everest and Makalu.
Day 09 : Today we climb past
the first and second of couple through damp pasture
lakes to reach Lobuche alt 4800m.Fit party can walk
from Chukkung to Lobuche crossing Crossing Kongma
la Pass 5540 m, in Same day.
Day 10 : Trek to Gorakshep, Through
Khumbu Glacier Dramatic Views of Mt.Nuptse & Pumori,
Climb Kalapattar, visit to Everest base overnight
Gorakshep.
Day 11 : Explore Mt.Everest Base
Camp, view Everest Icefall and climb Kalapattar
alt 5545 M.

12 : Return Trek to Dingboche
Day 13 : Trek to Tyngboche
Day 14 : Trek to Namche Bazaar
Day 15 : Trek to Lukla .

KATHMANDU
LHASA KATHMANDU VIA EVEREST BASE CAMP
 Day
01 : Fly Kathmandu (1400m) - Lhasa (3660m) Dis
90 Kms, 2 HRS,Ont Hotel Doodh Gu. This is normally
Saturday or Tuesday, Morning transfer to the airport
for the hour long flight to Tibet.
Day 02 - 03 : In Lhasa
will be spent visiting several of Lhasa's many monasteries
in the company of a guide-interpreter.Major Sites
are; Sera Monastery, Potala Palace, Drepung Monastery,
Norbhulinkha Palace, Jokhang Temple, Barkhor Bazaar,
Tibetan medicine center
Day 04 : Drive Lhasa - Gyantse
(3950m) 261 km, Ont Hotel Gyantse. Today we drive
crossing several High Pass Karo La 5010 M, Kamba La
4794 M,
Day 05 : drive Gyantse - Shigatse
(3900m) 90km O/n Hotel Manasarovar. After visiting
Khumbum Stupa and Palkhor Monastery we proceed to
Shigatse En route visit Shalu Monastery
Day 06 : drive Shigatse - Xegar
(4050m) 244km Ont Hotel.
Day 07 : Drive Xegar to Rongbuk alt 4920, 60
Kms Ont Hotel.
Day 08 : drive Rongbuk - Tingri (4350m)
65km, Am will explore Mt.Everest Base Camp, Pm after
Lunch drive to Tingri, O/n Guest House.
Day 09 : Drive Tingri - Nayalam
(2300m) 181km
Day 10 : Drive Nayalam - Kodari - Kathmandu (1400m)
123km, Trip Ends.
