Hotel Summit *** Patan Kathmandu
Welcome to Hotel Summit Patan Kathmandu Nepal !! It is our Mission to provide you superior service at an affordable price. We can accommodate any travel plans and can custom fit any itinerary. At Nepal Travels, we are here to serve you !
INTRODUCTION & LOCATION

The Summit is a very special Nepali style hotel with western comfort.
It was founded some 25 years ago by a group of Dutchmen who had - and still have - a great affinity for the country, its mountains, people, history and culture.

Terraces set in spacious flower gardens give views north across the Kathmandu valley to the Shivapuri ridgeline and the snow clad Himalayan range beyond.

Open balconies with local hand made tile floors and carved wooden pillars connect to the rooms.

A wide range of accommodation is offered from the self contained apartments in Summit Tower to the air conditioned Himalaya View Wing Rooms, the original Garden Wing Rooms, to the good value budget accommodation available in Holland House. The Summit has a famous bar and restaurant, beautiful gardens and terraces, an outdoor pool, beauty salon, fitness centre and sauna, business centre, conference and meeting facilities, room service and international direct dial telephone from all rooms.

Location
The Summit Hotel, placed equidistant between the great Durbar Squares of Kathmandu and Lalitpur, is the ideal place for those spending time in and around the Kathmandu valley.

With Kathmandu now being a crowded city, the old city of Patan (Lalitpur) has not changed much over the centuries and can easily be explored on foot.

The Patan Museum is located in a most beautiful renovated Malla Palace Garden and a visit there, and a stop off at the Museum Restaurant is a must.

Also located near the Summit are some of the best woodwork and handicraft shops in the valley. The Tibetan Refugee Camp has a wide selection of hand woven natural and vegetable dye carpets.

Generally shopping in Nepal is under-rated. There is much of good quality available, at amazingly low prices.
