This mountain was made first ascent in 1953 by a route from Kongma La Pass of its north ridge by Mr. John Hunt, Wilfred Noyce of 1953 Everest Expedition . Despite its lowly magnitude the Mountain's first ascensions were the giants of the Mountaineering establishment. A fact incidentally is true of many of the so called trekking Peaks.

It is an insignificant -looking mountain when seen from Pheriche from where it appears as a crenulated rocky Ridge dominated by the vast seen of Nuptse. The peak looks more interesting from Lobuche and Gorakshep rising to the south of Kongma La Pass 5545 Metrs. An infrequently traversed pass that joins Chukkung Valley and Khumbu Glacier. The northern side of a mountain has a small hanging Glacier that is best way to along ridge rising from Kongmala Pass. The route leads up broken rocks, boulders and snow to the summit.

We follow the classic Everest approach through the Everest base Camp trail. We will enter the magnificent Khumbu valleys. We go towards the Khumbu glacier en route to Everest base camp and you can enjoy spectacular panorama from Kala Patthar at 5,545m. Our route descends to Dignboche and goes to Chhukung valley and Island (Imja Tse) Base camp.

Outline Itinerary 01 via Gokyo , Cho La Pass & Everest Base Camp

Day 01: arrive in Kathmandu
Meet our office representative at Airport & Transfer to Hotel, Evening dinner & briefing about trip.

Day 02: In Kathmandu
Am you will be visit world heritage sties are Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa & Monkey Temple, after Lunch check th essential gears for climbing.

Day 03: Kathmandu-Phakding alt 2680m, 4 hrs trek.
Transfer to Airport fly to Lukla, where porters will be waiting, hand them load and couple of hrs Comfortable trek to Padding.

Day 04: Trek Namce Bazar alt 3470m, 5-6hrs.
After Brakfast couple of hrs walk along the Dudhkoshi river, then trail steeply ascend to Namche Bazar across alpine forest.

Day 05: Around Namche Bazarr.
Am explore around Namche Bazar, after Lunch nearly two hrs walk to Sansasa alt 3550m, View from Sansasa of Amadablam, Lhotse, Thamserku is dramatic.

Day 06: trek to Phortse alt 3500 m, 6-7hrs.
After Breakfast, trek along easy pasture slowly ascend to the pass alt 3800m, steeply drop to the River known as Phortse, then we all the way another 3 to 4hrs climb to Dolle.

Day 07 : Trek to Pangboche alt 3800m, 3-4hrs, all the way up along yak pasture.

Day 08 : Trek to Dingboche alt 4200m, 5 hrs.

Day 09 : Trek to Chukkung alt 4700m, 2-3 hrs.
After breakfast couple of hrs trek to Chukkung and all the day at acclimatization or climb chukkung Ri.

Day 11 : Trek to Kongmala Pass alt 5450 Meters
We leave about 7 am, it will take to get pass 5 hrs .we will camp at beautiful lake side overlooking the view of majestic mountain on to south and north.

Day 12 : Summit the peak and trek to Lobuche crossing Khumbu Glacier.

Day 13 : Lobuche to Gorakshep
After Breakfast trek for couple of hrs to Gorakshep, trek to Everest Base Camp O/n Gorakshep.

Day 14 : Gorakshep- Dzong La alt 4800m, early morning climb Kalapattar alt 5545 m, retutn to Lodge after Breakfast trek to Dzong La, accommodation dormitory( Lodge trek).

Day 15 : Trek to Tangnang crossing Cho La Pass 5315 Meters.
Day 16 : 2 hrs trek to Gokyo, climb Gokyo ri, explore the Gokyo Valley.

Day 17-20 : Trek to Lukla either via standard route or crossing Renjo Pass alt 5400m via Thame.

Day 21: In Kathmandu
Day 22 : Transfer to Airport
