In 1956 Jimmy Robert explored the peak
and gave name as tent peak while searching for Annapurna
Sanctury. Later a German Team climbed through North
West Ridge in fact it was climbed by Japanese South
Annapurna Expedition via East Ridge in 1964 by Dr
Haruo Higuchi from Kyoto University. It is attractive
mountain part of ridge line,from glacier dome that
includes Singuchuli and acts as a central divider
between semicircle of peaks enclosing sanctuary. It
offers a massive magnificent views of the mountain
panoramas, lies at the South Face Base Camp of Annapurna..
And right in the middle this all is Tharpu Chuli 5663m.
Where the surrounding peaks are presented in all their
glory from summit, The South Face Base Came of Annapurna
is the finest ascent to the climbing teams, not only
to the enjoying but also Seeing ranges of mountain
scenery. The ridges of the fluted peak, Himchuli and
a host of other mountains that a wait you. The Superb
countryside on the approach only adds to the excitement
and pleasure of this ascent as we trek along the rich
and fertile Modi Khola with its tumbling cascades
and high water falls, and through the colorful Gurung
Villages.
Out Itinerary
Day 01 : Arrival day,O/n Hotel.
Our office representative greets you at Airport, transfer
to Hotel.
Day 02 : In Kathmandu
Half day explore the world heritage culture sites
are Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhanath Temple &
Kathmandu Durbar Square & rest of time organize
essential gears for trekking & climbing.
Day 03 : Drive to Pokhara alt
700 M, Dis.200kms 5-6 hrs drive O/ Hotel.
Day 04 : Drive to Nayapul, trek to Ulleri alt
1900m, 5-6hrs
Day 05 : Trek to Ghorepani alt 2700m, 5-6hrs.
Day 06 : Trek to Hotel Tadapani
2600 m, 4-5hrs.
Am climb punill 3100m, to view clear view of Annapurna
Massif and Hiunchuli. Trek to Tadapani.
Day 07 : Trek to Chomrong alt
2000m, 5-6hrs.
Day 08 : Trek to Bamboo alt 2200, 5-6 hrs.
Day 09 : Trek to Deurali alt 3000m, 5-6hrs
Day 10 : Trek to Anapurna Base Camp alt 3800m
5 hrs.
Day 11 : Exploring Anapurna Glacier walk Tharpu
Chuli Base camp alt 4400m.
Day 12 : Trek to High Camp across rock, scree
and loose rocks alt 4900m
Day 13 : Summit the Tharpuchuli 5663 Metrs
and return to Base camp.
Day 14 : Base Camp - Hotel Himalaya.
Day 16 : Himalayan Hotel - Chomorong 2100m.
Day 17 : Chomorong - Tolkha alt 1800m
Day 18 : Tolkha-Pokhara
Day 19 : Drive to Kathmandu
Day 20 : Kathmandu
Day 21 : Final Departure.
