Three types of Tahr categorized in the world. These are Himalayan Tahr, Nilgiri Tahr & Arabian Tahr.The Himalayan Tahr has a small head, large eyes, and pointed small ears. Their hooves are well adapted to climbing rocks, mountains, and hills and their hooves have a special adaptation that has a rubber-like core that is flexible which lets them grab onto smooth rocks and also wedge into sharp areas with the rim of their hooves.Their diets consist of shrubs, small plants, and small trees. They usually gestate for six months, and have one kid at a time. The younglings stick with their mother for up to two years, and can live to be 15 years of age. In Nepal Himalayan Tahr habitat is from 2000 Meter to 4500 Meter. Dhorpatan hunting reserve is open for Himalayan Tahr hunt legally. Department of National Park is on process to open for legal hunt in other areas. The population its in Nepal is satisfactory.

Booking Process: provide us a clear valid passport copy, details of arm &ammunition, 50 percent Advance and 4 pcs passport sized copy.
Trophy Export from Nepal: One can take trophy with them after getting certificate from department of national Park and Animal health directorate. We assist to provide all the documents after the hunt before departure from Nepal. We can even send trophy by courier too. We have done to several countries already in Europe and America.
Protection of trophy: Salting & well drying.
Import of Riffle: Government of Nepal, Affairs of Home Ministry issue the arm & ammunition licence in application of facilitator. Qatar Airways is most convenience to travel with arm & ammunition as our previous experience.
Our Arrangements: Our Sherpa team reach the near the camp about 3-4 days in advance with taking necessary gears and wait for clients. They also conduct search of animal habitat location. We basically use local peoples who knows areas.
Cost Features: Normally hunting trip is expensive than other any types of trip. For the trip official documentation arrangements involve many different government authorities and apply different fees. Department of National park, Ministry of forest affair, District Administration office Kathmandu, Department of Custom, Concerned district administration office, Dhorpatan hunting reserve, Animal health of directorate and local community. Beside this, Game licence fees, operation cost and facilitator must pay some contribution to conservation part.

Itinerary By Helicopter:

Day 01:Arrive Kathmandu Airport, you will be receiving at Airport organize necessary custom formalities then transfer to Hotel. Arriving airport after 3 pm, custom formality could not be completed and weapons stay at Airport custom.
Day 02: Kathmandu, complete the government formalities & make final preparation to leave following days to Hunt. Other option is commence trip in the evening driving by Land cruiser to Burtibang or Dovan which will take 12 hrs.
Day 03: Fly by Helicopter in the morning then walk up to Camp overnight Camping Service.
Day 04-08: Himalayan Tahr Hunting Period Overnight Camping Full Board Basis
Day 10: Fly by Helicopter to Kathmandu overnight Hotel
Day 11: Kathmandu, documentation preparation for trophy export, overnight Hotel
Day 12: Final Departure, transfer to Airport clear custom of trophy & weapons
