Lumbini is the place where Buddha was born, known as the Tathagata. It is the place which should be visited & seen by a person of devotion, which should cause awareness and apprehension of the nature of impermanence.Tathagata, one who has found the Truth about 7 century. The birthplace of the Gautama Buddha, Lumbini, is one of the four holy places of Buddhism. It is said in the Parinibbana Sutta that Buddha himself identified four places of future pilgrimage: the sites of his birth, enlightenment, first discourse, and death. All of these events happened outside in nature under trees. While there is not any particular significance in this, other than Buddhists have always respected the environment and natural law.

Itinerary

Day 01 : Arrive in Kathmandu O/n Hotel.
Arrival in Kathmandu Airport, welcome by office representative and transfer to Hotel, Rest of time at leisure and self activities.

Day 02 : Kathmandu O/n Hotel.
After breakfast at Hotel, leave for full day sightseeing tour of Buddhist and Hindus Shrines such as Pasupatinath temple, Chabahil Stupa & Boudhanath Stupa. Pm : Continue Buddhist Shrine visit to Gokarna & Bajra Yogini (Sankhu village).

Day 03: Kathmandu O/N Hotel.
After breakfast the BF , leave for full day sightseeing tour of Buddhist Shrines and Hindus Shrine such as Dakshinkali temple, Pharphing Jogini with Monastery visit & Chovar Gorge. Pm : Visit to Mahaboudha and Rudra Varna Mahavihar. After lunch visit Patan Durbar Square, Hiranya Varna Mahavihar (the Golden temple).

Day 04 : Lumbini O/N Hotel .
After B/F, Transfer to domestic Airport to board flight to Bhairahawa (Lumbini). Meet, assist and transfer to Hotel, Pm : After lunch half day visit to sacred Lumbini Garden.

Day 05 : Lumbini-Chitwan National Park, O/n Lodge Full Board Basis.
After breakfast, drive to Royal Chitwan National Park visiting Buddhist places like Ramgram and Dev Daha enroute. Pm : Arrive at Resort in Chitwan and lunch. 15.00 Hrs: Elephant-back jungle excursion for 2/3 hours to view games.

Day 06 : Chitwan-Kathmandu, O/n Lodge Full Board Basis.
06.15 Hrs: After tea/coffee, one-hour's nature walk accompanied by naturalist for bird watching. 08.00 Hrs: After breakfast at resort, 45 minutes' canoe ride at Rapti River and return to the Resort.11.00 Hr drive to Kathmandu,

Day 07 : In Kathmandu
09.30 Hrs: After breakfast at Hotel, leave for fullday sightseeing tour of Buddhist shrines like Swyambhunath Stupa, Kathmandu Durbar square, Kumari (living goddess) Chowk, Maru Sattal, Kasta Mandap, Kal Bhairab, Jana Bahal etc. Lunch at City Restaurant. Pm : halfday excursion to Nagarjun Hill and Balaju water garden.

Day 08 : Breakfast at Hotel.
Transfer from Hotel to Tribhuvan Internation Airport to board onward journey flight.
