A trip to Bheri River you have options between taking a one and half an hour flight to Nepalgunj from Kathmandu or a 627 km. long journey by road. The Bheri River is so remote that it remains relatively an unexplored. The first section of the river is quite tough with twists and turns, creating many exciting narrow gorge section of the river with vertical cliff of 200-300 feet on either side. The gorge is interspersed with open valleys where there exist small villages. The trip can be continued with a jungle tour in the Bardiya Wildlife Reserve.A remote and easy river, blue water, white beaches and fine campsites.This must be one over your premier rafting trips in Nepal. Is has some of the best fishing in Nepal, together with beautiful and diverse scenery, lots of wildlife and unspoiled villages. Two large tributaries, the Thuli (large) and the Sani (small) join at Ramnagat to form the main Bheri river.

Outline Itinerary
Day 01 : Fly to Nepal Gunj, drive to Samjhighat.
Day 02 : Raft from Samjhighat to Rani Ghat and camp at the beach.
Day 03 : Raft from Rani Ghat to Jamu and camp at the beach.
Day 04 : Raft from Jamu to Chisapani and drive back to Kathmandu or Fly back from Nepalgunj.

  • Along with our high quality self-bailing rafts, we provide helmets, plastic paddles, wetsuits, lifejackets, and first aid kit.
  • We provide plentiful, healthy and hygienically prepared food and drinks. Tents and sleeping mats are also provided. Sleeping bags can be supplied upon request.
  • All our equipment is of the highest quality, clean and well maintained.
Things you need to Bring
Please bring with you shorts and a T-shirt or swimwear for on the river, suitable footwear for wearing in the raft, warm clothing for the evenings, a towel, sun block and your camera. A flashlight is also useful

What you need to tell us
Please tell us if you are a non-swimmer, or not very confident in the water. Also it is essential that you inform us of any medical conditions that may affect your well being on the trip.
Don't forget to request vegetarian meals if required

Safety
Adventure Whitewater takes the safety of its clients very seriously. All our guides are licensed, with many years of experience on the rivers of Nepal and other European countries. All are trained in CPR, First Aid and advanced river rescue techniques.
