Meters This popular remote high altitude mountain
trek is ideal for those who want a more challenging
trekking experience. You will have a opportunity to
climb "False" Mera (6,476m), one of the
highest trekking peaks in the Himalaya and Amphu Lapcha
Pass. After a spectacular mountain flight from Kathmandu,
we'll begin by heading southeast from Lukla. We will
walk along a high, rocky ridge through dense forests
and across several streams before reaching the pass
that will take us from the Khumbu Valley into the
Hinku Valley. Trekking and camping in this wild land
of abundant rhododendron and Himalayan pine forests
is impressive. At Tangnag, we will explore the huge
moraine and the beautiful glacial lake north of the
village. We will proceed to Khare (16,729') and once
camp has been established, you will have the option
to climb Mera Peak, first climbed in May 1953. The
ascent will follow the glacier that leads to Mera
La (17,767') and on to high camp where we will prepare
for our early morning summit. From high camp, we can
take in a sweeping view of Kanchenjunga, Chamlang,
Makalu to the east, Everest and Lhotse to the north
and Ama Dablam, Cho Oyu and Kangtega to the west.
This view is undoubtedly one of the most stunning
in all of Nepal. With good conditions, we will summit
Mera Peak the following morning. We will continue
north through the uninhabited Hinku Valley with almost
constant views of magnificent mountains. We will spend
several days camping beside the lovely lakes Dudh
and Panch Pokhari before climbing over Amphu Lapcha
(18,958'). We will make our way to Dingboche, then
Lobuche and along the moraine to the base of Kala
Pattar (18,192'). You will have the option of climbing
the "Black Rock" for a panoramic view of
some of the world's highest mountains including Everest,
Nuptse and Pumori. You will also have the option of
going to Everest Base Camp at the foot of the Khumbu
Icefall. As we make our way back to Lukla, we will
cross Cho La Pass 5315 M, Kongmala Pass 5540 M, Renjo
Pass, 5400 M, and Gokyo Valley. For this considered
as Everest High Pass. Only good walkers are advised
to do it. You can mountain from different angle and
faces while trekking in clock wise, you can skip to
climb Mera Peak as well.

Outline Itinerary
Day 01 : Arrive in Kathmandu, transfer to Hotel,
o/n Hotel BB.
Day 02 : In Kathmandu
O/n Hotel BB.
Take half day sight seeing to Pashupatinath Temple,
Boudhanath Stupa and Shyambhunath Stupa.
Day 03 : Kathmandu-Chutang
3500 M, 5-6HRS, o/n Camp.
An early morning transfer to Airport, fly to Lukla,
trek to Chutang along the dense forest, enjoy the
small sherpa villages, you can see Shepard with their
cattle, water falls.
Day 04 : Chutang-
Khaketang, 4100m, 3hrs O/n Camp.
Today is short walk, enjoy the good view of mountains,
waterfall, trail ascend steeply through bush and forest.Kharketang
can bee seen straight up to Chutang. You can see many
yaks grazing.
Day 05 : Acclimatization
in Kharke Tang.
In order to cross Zwatra La Pass 4687 M, you need
rest, climb couple of hundred meters and return the
camp. In Kharketang there is two yak hut, local supple
some basic food to local visitors.
Day 06 : Kharketang-
Thuli Kharka 3502 m, 5hrs O/n Camp.
Trail steeply ascend to the Pass, takes about two
hrs to pass Zwatra La 4687,view from pass is dramatic,
keep continue walking another a hrs along the ridge,
trail descend steeply to Thuli Kharka.
Day 07 : Thuli
Kharka- Kothey 3500 m, 5-6hrs, O/n Camp.
Enjoy a beautiful walk along grassland, trail steeply
descend to River along dark wild forest, then ascend
to Kothey, where is about 10 houses of Sherpa.
Day 08 : Kothey
- Thangnang 4000m, 5-6hrs O/n Camp.
Today all the way we trek along the River valley,
which is wide and can enjoy the south face of Mera
Peak and other unnamed peaks. Tangnang is beautiful
village of 15 Sherpa Houses, perhaps the biggest village
in this area.
Day 09 : Thangnang-Khare
at 4900 M, 5 hrs trek, O/N Camp.
Trail ascend steeply at first one hrs, then reach
to wide Meadow, enjoy the beautiful huge water spring,
waterfall, glacier lake, Mera and other mountains.
Day 10 : Acclimatization
in Khare
Take a couple of hrs hiking to the Mt. Thamserku,
Kangtega side, wide medow, couple of isolated lakes
and view of Mera and other peaks are dramatic.
Day 11 : Trek
to Base Camp Mera La 5400m, 4-5hrs Camp.
Trail steeply ascend to the Mera La, on the pass always
snow covering, view of mountain are great. our camp
set up 50 meters below pass of other side.
Day 12 : Mera
La-High Camp at 5800 M, 4hrs O/n Camp.
Easy snow walking along the wide ridge of Mera if
the weather clear we enjoy good views, we camp at
lap of huge rock. It is tiny area.
Day 13 : Summit
to Mera at 5200 M, return to , 9-10 hrs O/n Camp.
Our climb start about 2 am, easy walking does not
require any technical skill to climb. It is all the
way to top snow walking. Perhaps, view from Mera Peak
offers best view than other peaks. After summit, enjoy
cup of tea in High camp and trek down to Mera La where
yours Lunch will be waiting. after Lunch trek a hrs
to Mera Base Camp other side in Hinku Valley.
Day 14 : Mera
Base Camp to Chomolama Base Camp at 5200 M, 5-6HRS
O/n Camp. Trail descend slowly viewing the majestic
views Mt. Chomalama, enjoy pleasant walk, valley widen
and slowly climb up.
Day 15 : Mt. Chomolama
Base Camp to Panch Pokharai at 5300 M, 5-6HRS
O/n Camp. Today trail passes several glacial lake,
along the river valley, pleasant walk enjoy the Glacier
and water falls, trail slowly ascend to Panch Pokhari.
Day 16 : Panch
Pokhari to High Camp at 5600M, 3 hrs, O/n Camp.
Beautiful walk, mountain views are great including
Mt. Makalu, Mt Barunche, below high camp there is
a huge Glacial Lake which is very pious for Hindus
Pilgrimage, valley is wide and surrounds by unnamed
mountains that are snow covering all the time of the
year. Reaching at High Camp, yours Sherpa go to Fix
the Rope on the pass, enjoy the views and relax.
Day 17 : High
Camp-Chukkung 4700 Mtrs.O/n Camp.
We start an early morning, if there is couple of group
can be take long time waiting for path, if not in
two hrs we reach on top, after the top for about 100
mtrs very steep and one has to descend with help of
rope and we transport all the luggage by rope. One
should be very careful this portion, there are a lot
of chances of loosing equipment and damaging the things.
Do not loose self control. Looking down is very scary.
after reaching the base camp, check our things, if
every one arrived or not, then continue walking to
Chukkung.
Day 18 : Chukkung-Lobuche
at 4900 m, O/n Camp
Those fit trekkers, who wants to take another advantage
we take you over Kongmala Pass 5540 M, those who do
not wish take normal route to Lobuche. Kongmala is
beautiful pass, view of Mt. barunche, Mt. Makalu,
Thamserku and Amadablam is great and there are several
scary lakes just below pass, local believes that there
is a lake which is very black and live ghost. But
water is clear and beautiful we have enjoyed very
much. We shall take heavy breakfast, carry drinks
and pack lunch with us. Normally peoples who come
from Namche Bazar standard route camp at the lake
areas 5000 mtrs for acclimatization. Porters carrying
heavy loads will be difficult to make in same day.
Day 19 : Trek
to Gorakshep 5100 mtrs, O/n Camp.
It is short walk, couple of hrs, reaching at Camp,
enjoy a cup of tea or a soup then walk to Base Camp.
Day 20 : Gorakshep
-Dzongla at 4900 m, 5-6hrs O/n Camp.
an early morning climb Kala Pattar at 4545 M, enjoy
sunrise of Everest, return to Gorakshep, after pass
we walk to Dzongla at Chola Pass Base Camp at 4900
M.
Day 21 : Dzongla-
Tangnang at 4800 M, 7 hrs O/n Camp.
About 5 am, start trek along moraine, glacier steeply,
top of Chola is wide, from pass trail steeply descend
to the Tangnang overlooking glacier and Gokyo Valley.
Day 22 : Tangnang
- Gokyo, 7 hrs O/n Camp.
It is nearly two hrs walk to Gokyo, we will climb
Gokyo Ri at 5300M, explore Glacier and Glacial Lakes,
Blue clear lake.
Day 23 : Gokyo
-Lunden 4000 Mtrs. 7 hrs O/n Camp.
An early morning, trek towards to Renjo Pass at 5400
m, view from pass of Everest is dramatic and other
numerous peak, It is considered best view than the
Kalapattar, from pass enjoy the view of Rolwaling
Himalaya and Tibet side as well.It is newly explored
pass, during summer local crosses their yaks to Gokyo
and from Gokyo. While there is snow it is difficult
for Yaks to cross. After pass, about two hundred meters,
trail very steeply descend along moraine, we will
reach a clear lake, then continue steep down along
Yak Pasture to Lunden.
Day 24 : Lunden-Namche
Bazar, 7 hrs O/n Camp.
We follow the Bhotekoshi River valley, on the way
we can see a lot Tibetan nomads with their Yaks, coming
to sell Goods to Namche Bazaar, many mani wall, chorten.
Thame is old village wher ewe will have Lunch and
continue trek to Namche Bazar.
Day 25 : Namche
Bazar-Lukla, O/n Lodge.
Day 26: Fly to Kathmandu. Transfer to Hotel, Trek
ends, .
