A trek to the Mardi Himal takes you
into one of the most untouched areas of the Himalayas.
There are few villages as the majority of this trek
is in wilderness that culminates with spectacular
close up views of Machhapuchare - the 'Fishtail Mountain'.
Our treks in the Mardi Himal are also special in that
they are organized with the first women owned trekking
agency and our women trekking guides provide a unique
insight into the culture of this region. A rare opportunity
for the first time or seasoned trekker to experience
Nepal how it used to be. Our trek to Mardi Himal is
a fully escorted camping trek with western leader.
This is a climb of little technical
difficult where route finding and effort are the major
problem. What difficulties there are cannot found
in the couloirs leading to the col below the east
face. Late in the day this might press the avalanche
danger under fresh snow condition. From base camp
we climb steeply toward the col between the east face
of Mardi Himal and connecting ridge of Fishtail .We
place high camp here at 4650m.From camp reach snow
couloirs leading to the col with a steep section 45
degree. Continue steep climbing which lead to the
summit of Mardi Himal. We descend by same rote.
