You can fly from Mainland China or from Kathmandu
to Lhasa, we will explore capital city of Tibet, we continue
drive by jeep to eastern north from Lhasa Drigong Monastery,
Reting Monastery, Lake Namtso a Tibet second biggest Salt
Lake covering 1900 Square Kms in the buttons of High Mountains.
You can the many yaks' herds, sheep with their Shepard dogs,
nomad's camps. This part is rich for adventure, culture
and nature holidays, If you are willing to travel less touristy
areas this can be ideal choice.
Outline Itinerary
Day 01 : Fly to Lhasa at 3680 M/ O/N Hotel BB.
Upon arrival at arrival gate in Lhasa, you will be greet
by yours Tibetan Guide and assist you to transfer to Lhasa
Hotel which is 97 kms , rest of time at Leisure.
Day 02 : In Lhasa O/N Hotel BB.
After Breakfast guided tour to Drepung Monastery, the largest
one in Tibet Lunch , PM guided tour to Jokhang Temple, the
final destination of Tibetan pilgrims.. Some 1200 years
old Barkhor bazar is around the temple, which is regarded
as the most important transmigration way.
Day 03 : Lhasa - Drigong Monastery, O/n
tent Full Board Basis.
After Breakfast we drive 75 km along unpaved Road to Drigong
Monastery
Will takes 3 hrs, rest of time explore surroundings take
resting.
Day 04 : Drigong Monastery - Reting Monastery,
O/n tent Full Board Basis.
Drive 80 kms, off beaten road, offers huge wide grassland
and nomads camps with their cattle. We will camp near by
Monastery.
Day 05 : Reting Monastery - Namtso Lake,
O/n tent Full Board Basis.
Long drive, half portion of road is paved, driving comfortable,
majestic Himalaya Views, we cross pass 5180 M pass before
get in to Lake Namtso.
Day 06 : Lake Namtso-Lhasa O/n Hotel, BB
Basis.
Today drive offers a breathtaking scenery, Nomadic Life,
if you are during August -September, Nomads and Locals celebrates
Horse riding Festival for ten days, geothermal, Hot spring
and River Gorges.
Day 07 : In Lhasa O/N Hotel BB Basis.
Guide visit on the massive Potala Palace has you on its
golden-roof platform and you may hear monks debating at
Sera Monastery
After our guide will tell you something about the Tibetan
History with fine paintings at Norbulingkha, the Dalai Lama's
Summer Palace, he/she will take you to a Native family,
where is a Family Visit with the Farewell Party.
Day 08 : Lhasa - China Chengdu.
Head to the airport at 06:30 am and fly out to Kathmandu
