Itinerary ]
In Tibet, if you would like to Explore a wilderness experience,
a solitary, avoiding crowd of pilgrimage to Kailash and
Lake manasarovar, getting touch in to the inland of Tibet
high plateau where perhaps foreigners never reached or fewer
has done before, only fewer has heard about this route.
We will take you through such route where few still many
are left to explore. It will take only few days more, few
hundred US$ extra, you enjoy the genuine Tibetan Nomad culture
and its feature huge high altitude grassland Safari watching
blue lakes and white mountains, herd of wild yaks, sheep,
dogs and other species animal.Culture of western north part
of Tibet known as Ngari perfection, Guge Kingdom, Mount
Kailash and lake Manasarovar, mystical view of Everest 8848mtrs,
including Lhotse, Mt.Makalu , Mt. Shisa Pangma and other
numerous peaks, giants Rivers lakes and colorful culture,
many high mountain passes. This is the perfect way to explore
western -North Tibet Kailash Manasarovar for devotees to
gain adventure, spiritualistic, Creation peace of mind,
avoiding the crowds. On the way from Lhasa we will visit
numerous monasteries, Stupas and other tourist sites that
include culture activities and view of majestic Himalayas.
Couple of hrs drive after Lhatse, for three days we drive
and spend night above 5000mtrs through huge grassland plains.
OUTLINE
ITINERARY
Day 01 : Fly to Gonggar Airport & drive
to Lhasa (3650m/1000kms/) O/N Hotel BB Basis- 2hrs drive.
Today some peoples fly from Kathmandu some fly from other
city of China, upon arrival yours guide welcome you, transfers
to Hotel at Lhasa, rest of time at leisure and acclimatize.
Day 02 : In Lhasa
The morning visit Potala Palace, Afternoon visit Sera Monastery,
which was founded in 1419 by Sakya Yeshe, a disciple of
Tsongkhapa, The most interesting and distinguished thing
to see here is monks debating and visit continue to Norbhulinka
Palace O/N Hotel BB Basis.
Day 03 : In Lhasa
Am visit Drepung Monastery, made in 1416 and perhaps biggest
monastery in Tibet after lunch we visit Jokhang Temple,
Barkhor Bazaar in the heart of old Tibetan Town, where you
enjoy the fascinating combination of deep religious and
push shove market economic.
Day 04 : Drive Lhasa to Gyantse (3650m/259/kms)
7hrs. O/N BB Hotel.
We drive to Gyantse crossing several high passes The KAMBA
LA (4794m.), KARO LA (5010m.) PASS via The Lake Yamdrok-
Tso Lake upon arrival in Gyantse we will visit Khumbum Stupa
.
Day 05 : Drive, Gyantse to Lhatse (4050m.
290/kms)-6hrs, O/N BB Hotel.
Before depart, we Visit The Phalkor Monastery at Gyantse
continue two hrs drive to Shigatse (90kms) where we will
visit Tashilhunpo Monastery and the free Tibetan market,
after lunch we continue drive to Lhatse take another 4 hrs.
Day 06 : Drive Lhatse to Hot Spring (4800mtrs/
270kms)-7-8hrs O/N Camp BLD. Today we drive along huge
pasture on the can bee seen scattered Tibetan Hamlet, its
feature , we follow the Tsnagpo River Valley. Landscape
in this area is very particular for photographing, after
reaching there you can enjoy a beautiful hot spring.
Day 07 : Drive hot spring to Tso Chen (5140mtrs/
210kms)-7hrs O/N Camp BLD-6hrs drive. Today we drive
on a vast high altitude grassland there are no any mountain
high passes, you may see herds of yaks and sheep, dog and
Shepard only very primitive few Nomads camps can be see.
Very few western travelers know this route.Only fewer group
takes this trip in a year.
Day 08 : Drive Tsochen to Getse (5030meters/285
kms,)-7-8hrs O/N Camp BLD. BLD.Today drive across huge
grassland remote pasture herd of wild yaks may appears and
other species of animals, we will drive on the crossing
foot of Mt. Xaigangang 6822 meters.Onle few places some
nomads camp can bee see.
Day 09 : Getse to Shingba 280kms-7 hrs,
O/N Camp BLD. Today drive is quite relax we drive approximately
5000 meters elevation on average, en route we visit salt
lake, drive to west along vast plain.
Day 10 : Drive Shongba to Gar (4500m/230km)
O/N Camp BLD.
Gar is capital city of West Tibet Ngar prefecture , we may
see some public transportation running on the Roard, activities
of Ngari peoples and its feature. You will have pleasant
feeling to see those things after the last 4 days wilderness
trip.
Day 11 : Drive Gar to Drada Country (4600mtrs/180kms/7hrs)
O/N Camp or Hotel BLD.Today is challenging day, we drive
over 5800 meters two high passes. Landscape is beautiful,
Kashmir is only 40 kms away from here, there is some beautiful
mountain views, finally crossing pass road drop down to
Drada.
Day 12 : In Guge
Explore Guge kingdom and tolling Monastery, which is only
30 kms away from here O/N Camp BLD.
Day 13 : Drive Drada to Darchen (4640mtrs/340Kms)-10
hrs drive.O/N Camp BLD. After a high mountain pass crossing
trail drop down to plain continue drive to Darchen, from
where we following day parikarma Start.
Day 14 : Start Kailash Parikarma from Darchen
or Tarboche
Trek to Dira Puk,O/N BLD CAMP.. Today is the actual start
of the circumambulation of Kailash from Darchen first prostration
point, Tarboche Flag pole the auspicious gateway and sky
burial ground, We trek to Dhira at Puk at 4765 Meters, camp
at the north face of Kailash. This will be a once in a lifetime
experience view of Kailash is superb from Here.
Day 15 : Trek to Zuthul Puk (5650 meters/
22kms- trek 8-9hrs).O/N BLD Camp. Trek to the north face
wall of Kailash. This is one of the real highlights of the
tour. You will come face to face with the greatness of Kailash.
We will cross the last ridges to literally sit in the lab
of Shivas abode. This is the most powerful point of the
pilgrimage and has transformed the lives of those who visited
with humility and devotion. Today's hike is not part of
the actual Kora and only possible for physically very fit
people. Today we cross the Dolma La Pass (5650meters). Dorma
La is the highest point of our pilgrimage and it is said
that those who pass this gateway will finish the Karma of
a full lifetime and start a new life at this point. Very
near we find the famous lake "GAURIKUND", the
bathtub of Parvati the wife of Lord Shiva. You have the
opportunity to take a sacred bath here and charge your body,
mind and spirit.
Later we will trek to the campsite near the
monastery Zutul Puk and enjoy the stay near the river.
Day 16 : Kailash Kora end near Darchen (4700mtrs/14kms-5hrs)
O/N BLD Camp. Today we will complete the Kailash Kora
crossing third and fourth prostration point ZUTHUL PUK Monastery
and trek, trek near by Darchen from where we directly drive
to Chiu Gompa the ancient monastery at the shore of Lake
Manasarovar where you will enjoy a bath in the hot springs
and camp near the lake.
Day 17 : Drive, to Parayang (4540mtrs/277kms
/7-8hrs) O/N BLD Camp.
Day 18 : Drive Parayang to Saga (4840mtrs/185kms-8hrs)
.Camp. On our way to Saga we again enjoy the beauty
of the Tibetan Plateau and camp near the town at a sacred
rock which marks one of the power vortexes of Tibet.
Day 19 : Drive saga to Nayalam (4850mtrs/115kms-6-7hrs),O/N
BLD Camp.
Day 20 : Drive Nayalam to Kathmandu
Trip Ends.
Day 21 : Take a day rest and enjoy
nice beers after the hard unforgettable trip.
Day 22 : Transfer to Airport
or you can further extend yours stay in Kathmandu.
Optional Itinerary
If yours group wants to start from Kathmandu it will take
three days to get Lhatse including day acclimatization in
Nayalam, form Lhatse follow the same itinerary above given.
Cost : If you are single cost
is high, if you do not mind to travel with some body else
with whom you can share the cost of transportation, Guide
and other things will be cheaper. In this regards, we expect

of those dates you may join. You need not worry to find
