You will explore a prominent old city TSEDANG
and in the eastern part of Tibet. After
Tsedang, we drive to Lhasa along Tsangpo River Valley,
features typical Tibetan culture, villages, nomad camps
and some of best view of mountain. We will visit in Lhasa,
Palace of Dalai Lama, Drepung Monastery, Tibetan markets
and other numerous opportunities to explore.
Outline Itinerary
DAY 01: KATHMANDU - GONKAR - TSEDANG O/N HOTEL TSEDANG.
Fly in from Kathmandu 120 km guided ride from Gongkar
Airport (3.500m) to Tsedang (3.500m) In the afternoon
sigtseeing of Yumbu Lagang, the first Tibetan king's palace,
and Trandruk Monastery, where is the famous Pearl Thanka.
Day 02: TSEDANG O/N HOTEL TSEDANG.
After B/F, drive to ( Cross Tsangpo River
on a ferry , the first monastery in the history, built
in the form of Mandala. In the sigtseeing of Yumbu Lagang,
the first Tibetan king's palace, and Trandruk Monastery,
where is the famous Pearl Thanka.
DAY 03: TSEDANG - LHASA O/N HOTEL .
220 km drive to Lhasa. Along the Tsango River Valley,
enjoy the Tibetan features en route
DAY 04: LHASA O/N HOTEL .
09:00 guided tour to Drepung Monastery, the largest one
in Tibet
03 PM guided tour to Jokhang Temple, the final destination
of Tibetan pilgrims, Some 1200 years old Barkhor bazar
is around the temple, which is regarded as the most important
transmigration way.
DAY 05: LHASA, O/N HOTEL .
Guide visit on the massive Potala Palace has you on its
golden-roof platform and you may hear monks debating at
Sera Monastery. After our guide will tell you something
about the Tibetan History with fine paintingsat Norbulingkha,
the Dalai Lama's Summer Palace, he/she will take you to
a Native family, Where is a Family Visit with the Farewell
Party.
DAY 06: LHASA- GONKAR - KATHMANDU
or Chengdu
Head to the airport at 06:30 am and fly out to Kathmandu/China.
