Driving from Lhasa to Lake Namtso offer a incredible experience along wide plain, it is Tibet's Nomadic place, Huge hot spring covers 16 square kilometers steaming at YANGBAJING , deep river gorges, driving over high passes Lar geh la 5200m,From where we can see the clear view of Lake Namtso and shadow on mountains in the Lake and long mountain range has rised from Lake. Thousand of yaks, sheep and mountain goats are grazing .On returning from Lake Namtso at 4700, we drive to Kathmandu via Lake Yamdrok Tso, Gyantse, Shigatse Mt. Everest Base Camp, Known as Rongbuk, Dramatic views of Everest and other numerous peaks can be seen . After the Rongbuk, our trip continues driving to Kathmandu. If you are in Hong Kong, Beijing, Shanghai or other part of China and do not wish to start from Kathmandu, You have possibilities to join with the group or you can pick the private tour any dates you like. There is regular flight to Lhasa from China's major city XIANG, SHANGHAI, BEIJING, CHENGDU, GUANGZHOU, CHAMDO from Hong Kong there is not direct flight but you can fly via Beijing or Shanghai. Outline Itinerary
Day 01 : Meet / Arrive in Gonggar Airport, drive to Tsedang (3500M/ 97kms)-2hrs) O/nt Hotel. Today some peoples fly from Kathmandu and some peoples fly from Chengdu / Beijing/ Hong Kong main land China, You will meet them at Airport or Hotel in Tsedang depend on flight arrival time. We drive to east along Yarlong River valley rest of time at acclimatization.

Day 02 : Tsedang acclimatization and sight seeing overnight at Hotel.
After breakfast drive to the Tombs of Tibetan Kings located in Chongye Country. It includes the tombs from the 29th to 40th Tsenpo and their ministers and imperial concubines. In the afternoon visit Yumbu Lagang, the first palace in Tibet, Traduk Temple the earliest Temple in Tibet.

Day 03 : Drive to Lhasa (3650m/190kms/3-4hrs) Hotel.
After Breakfast ( 7 am),leave at 7 am to Lhasa on the way we visit Samaey Monastery ,which is first possession of the three treasures; BUDDHA, DHARMA, SANGA built in 762 AD. enjoy the Tibetan villages and features on to the both side of Tsangpo River world highest big River.check Hotel in Lhasa, after Lunch we will visit Drepung Jokhang Temple, Drepung Monastery and Barkhor Bazaar.

Day 04 : Sight seeing tour to Lhasa. Overnight at Hotel.
After Breakfast, we visit Potala palace, which is highest Palace Norbulinka Palace, Sera Monastery and Jokhang Temple.

Day 05 : Drive, Lhasa to Lake Namtso (4600M/ 210kms/7-8hrs) O/nt at Guest House. Today we drive to the north west of Lhasa an early morning taking breakfast. On the way we visit YANGBAJING (4300m/87 KMS) electricity town, build thermal power plant it is first and biggest thermal development in China , Hot Spring that covers 16 Square Kilometers. From Yangbajing, road run north east to Damxung( 4400m/ from Yangajing 83 kms) through a long straight upland valley usually dotted with nomad encampments and herds of yaks and sheep. A track form Damxung follows the plain and upstream over Lar Geh La pass 5200m and drop to the Lake Namtso 40 kms from Damxung.

Day 06 : Drive Lake Namtso to Lhasa (210kms/6-7hrs) overnight Hotel.
In the morning explore the Lake Namtso in clear views, Nomads Camp, surrounding landscapes, then after BF drive to Lhasa.

Day 07 : Drive to Gyantse (3800m/190 kms / 5-6 hrs).O/nt at Hotel.
Today we drive over crossing several high passes The KAMBA LA Pass (4794m.) & KARO LA (5010m.) PASS , The Lake Yamdrok- Tso en route enjoy the Karola Glacier, You can see place where film Red River Valley was shot you can see in the distance the Dzong of Red fort where Tibetan fought bloody battle with British invaders 1904 with Palcho Monastery with 100000 Buddha Pagoda.

Day 08 : Drive Gyantse to Shigatse ( 3600m/2-3hrs) Overnight at Hotel.
Am visit Khumbum Stupa, Phalkhor Monastery and drive to Shigatse, en route we will visit the Sera Monastery.

Day 09 : Drive, Shigatse to Xegar (3900m/244kms/6-7hrs), O/nt at Guest House. In Shigatse we Visit the Tashilhunpo Monastery, Tibetan free Market.

Day 10 : Drive to Rongbuk (4920m/60kms/3 hrs)O/nt at Guest House.
Today we drive over rocky terrain on to the Rongbuk enjoying views of Everest, Beautiful rocky landscapes and other numerous mountains.

Day 11 : Drive Rongbuk to Tingri (3750m/96kms/3 hrs) O/nt at Guest House.
Am we will trek to Everest base Camp, retreat to Rongbuk, we drive to Tingri in the afternoon.

Day 12 : Drive Tingri to Nayalam (3800m/214kms/6-7hrs) Guest House B & B.
Drive downhill to Nyalam crossing two spectacular passes- The LALUNG LA (5082m.)

Day 13 : Drive to Kathmandu,(1350m/125kms)6-7hrs.
Downhill to Kodari, after completing immigration formalities, scenic drive to Kathmandu. This drive offers entirely different views than Tibet, lust forest, terraced rice field, green vegetation and scattered ethnical villages.

Visa & Permit :
Those who want to get Lhasa from main Land China requires Tibet permit but during Chinese visa period you can travel to Tibet with same Visa. We will organize permit for you and send to you by Fax, Mail, scanned. You can collect documents at yours Hotel or mail to yours home.
